The New Church Logo!

Though many changes we are currently seeing are coming slow and gradual, it is exciting to see the church (physically and spiritually) begin to take shape. Chris did an excellent job with this simple, yet profound logo. The words say, "Church of Christ, South Leon." The Sandal is a play off the leather/shoe industry here in Leon, GTO. Many come from far away to buy and sale shoes here (part of the reason why we originally chose Leon). The water basin represents a servant attitude! Together it makes for a cool looking logo and also gives the church a small, yet important, visual "identity". The congregation also signed various documents for registering the church with the Mexican government on May 1, 2005. In all, the Lord is blessing and growing His church here in Leon, GTO. We are blessed to serve here. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement of the Lord's work here and throughout the world!
