"It's the most BUSY time of the year..."
Barbara and I are going, going...going. Yesterday was no different. While we were planning for a party on Saturday for the youth, we were preparing for a small group christmas party at our house on Friday. I'm not sure who decided to do BACK 2 BACK parties at our house...Barb :)
It was a great night of fellowship and fun. Although we had planned on around 15, 6 of our regulars didn't show up. The funny thing about Mexico is that if there's a party/food, people come out of the wood works!!! 7 "uninvited" (at least by us, but anyone is welcome at the Casa Gary :) and one guy I've NEVER even seen before! As you can see from the picture up top we had one of the most authentic Mexican Christmas dinners...SANDWICHS :) Ok, well, it had nothing to do with Christmas, but when you are trying to feed an army it is a good, cheap meal! There ended up being nearly 20 of us and I even had a chance to talk about Jesus with a couple of non-Christian visitors. It was a lot of fun. Special thanks to my gorgeous wife and perfect, little hostess! She made the night with good food, a servant heart and her world famous (at least in two countries) smile!!!
