"The Wedding"

Today we went to a traditional Mexican Baptist wedding...organ during each prayer, 3 songs and don't forget the 3 point sermon. The invitation read 1 p.m., so exactly at 1:45 the wedding started. As you might have noticed weddings aren't my favorite, but there's a lot of things in life you do for someone else. We actually weren't there for the bride and we weren't even there for the groom (he visited Leon Sur once and hasn't come back since because he "doesn't like gringos"). We were there for Lety, Andrea, Rafael and their mother. I actually should say "I" was there, because Barb loves weddings and the kids don't mind too much if there is a pen and paper available to draw something :)

Ministry can be a challenge some times and it seems like we do some things that we really don't like doing. In the end, I want to be among the people and share a word for Jesus more than I want to do everything my way. Please pray for Edgar and his new bride! Pray that God will bless their marriage and permeate their lives with His grace.
