New Small Group

Friday night, Felipe and Blanca invited us to their home to start a new small group. There were 8 adults and 8 kids. We read John 1 and shared what the section of scripture meant to us and how we would change because of having read it. There are many misunderstandings about Small Groups, but perhaps the biggest misunderstanding is the practical side of it. How will God's word change me and who will I share this with...THIS WEEK! Can you imagine the change if everyone shared what they were learning about Jesus with just one person a week? I truly believe the church would grow expeditiously and we could literally change the world in a generation if we would only practice this life style! Though this was the first time with this new group, we will not finish small group with out asking each person for one name of one person they will share the message with the following week. The next small group we follow up on it and ask if they shared and how it went. Please pray for this group. Pray that God might raise up men and women who would be more committed to sharing their faith!!
