Ready for a Vacation!
Welp, I'm tired!!! About a week ago, J'lae and Jenny moved into our downstairs for the Baker wedding. You couldn't ask for better house guest or a better maid of honor for that matter, but it's been a full house. On Wednesday of last week, mom and dad got here! It's been YEAAARRRRSSSSS since they have come to visit, so it was great to have them. Again, couldn't ask for a better blessing, but that blessing has worn us all out!We ran around with mom and dad at the end of last week. Then Saturday we had the wedding, fun cultural experience for them. Sunday we went to worship and then headed straight to Andrea's house for lunch with the Alaska group, old/new AIMers and a hand full of others. Monday I took the Palafox family to the airport at 5 in the a.m. and then we headed to Comanjilla and came home Tuesday evening burnt and tired. This morning we will take mom and dad to breakfast, shopping and then to the airport. It's been a great week, but I might need a couple of weeks to recoop :)!
Tomorrow and Friday I will be finishing up some of the projects started at the building this past week. I am also in the process of finishing the youth retreat details for the end of this month and getting the new youth curriculum out. We are also still working on the youth rally for August. Needless to say, I would be thankful for prayers right now!! We are also looking at the possibility of taking Evelyn to the states to visit her supporters in July. There is a whole lot planned and a lot of health, money and energy needed to accomplish it! Please keep our family and ministries in your prayers as we strive to glorify God!!!
