Ben and Jazmin

Yesterday was the Baker wedding! It was a good time to be together with the church and much more. Omar did a good job as always and Jazmin looked beautiful. The wedding, in typical Mexican style started nearly 45 minutes late. When we were leaving three hours later 15 people were walking in (no joke!). It truly was a celebration of the new life together for these two young people.

For one reason or another I got to thinking, "MAN there's a lot of AIMers here!" I realized there were 4 generations (5 if you count the three that are going into AIM in August) of AIMers at the wedding. Barb and I were the 93 class, Omar and Tana were 95, Jlae, Donovan, Bill, Tyler, Megan, Annie, and of course Ben were 06, and finally our current AIMers 08. There were also three going into AIM in August, Jenny, Baron and Evelyn from Leon! It was neat to think about the impact of AIM on the world. I'm sure there have been many events like this around the world where many generations of disciplers came together to celebrate what God is doing!! Please keep this young couple in your prayers as they start their lives together!!!
