"WHAT WAS THAT???!!!"

So we are driving to register Maicah here in Leon and all of the sudden, there was this huge BANG!!! Then there was this super loud POP!!! Barb was a little freaked out and LOUDLY encouraging me to stop the car. I told her it was just a flat and I started to pull over. When I had almost reached the curb, I hear this horrible sound. When I got out, I realized that the axle had broke and it popped my 4 month old tire! The dragging of the tire left some sweet scratches on the cement. Shortly after that, a cop pulled up behind us and redirected the traffic. Luckily Omar and Tana was with us. Once again they saved the day and helped get us home and pick up the kids from school. We had a toe truck take us to the mecanic and at this point they are still working on it and getting parts. It was a crazy day, but I was really glad I wasn't going any faster or on the highway...God is always watching over us!!! Hopefully the van will be ready within a day or so, because we have to pick up the AIMers from the airport tomorrow night. I had to cancel the youth study and our Friday night small group, because we can't get around and pick up the people we take to the studies. By the way, the car at the top left was just a representation of "Barb's reaction" to the tire pop. Thanks for your prayers on our behalf! It's pretty amazing that I had just wrote a request of prayer this morning on behalf of our family and our safety in the article below! God is good!!!
