The Stress Test

I don't know if you have ever heard of a "stress test". Basically, it's been a long time since I've taken one, the test gives you certain questions of things that are going on in your life and each activity is given a numeric value. Depending on your "number" (total sum of all the "stresses"), the test will rate your stress level as something like "moderate", "medium", "high" and "Oh man, you should probably sit down for a little while!!!" :)

The questions are things like "are you currently/have you recently..." "moving", "divorcing", "lost a loved one", "health issues", "changing jobs/without a job", etc. I think Barb and I have felt STRESS! Our "number" would be high for the next couple of months! On top of all that, we have recently been made aware of rumors going around about Leon Sur. God is doing amazing things and I guess that's why Satan is so hot on the tail of the congregation right now. Many changes, new leadership, growth in membership, studies, new AIMers arriving and much more have caused some what of a chain reaction of events. Most all of those events are good, but even in growth, there are often "pains". I would ask you to remember us in your prayers.

I would especially ask you to remember the Palafox family over the next couple of weeks and into the future! Though they will be receiving a new group of AIMers which means more workers, for a coordinator that also means MORE work! Pray for their walk, their marriage, their children, their health and their ministry. We are not trying to "scare anyone"...they are doing good and everything is fine, but we also know that where God is at work, Satan is close by!
