Happy 4th of July!

Tomorrow is that special day again. To many it seems more like a day for beer, fireworks, grilling and getting burned lake/pool side! I got to thinking about it and realized it's been a while since I have truly given thanks for my freedom. I some times feel frustrated in Mexico with culture junk and then remember how amazingly blessed I am to be an American...bad rep, huge country debt and all :) I know we get distracted with down time, friends and all that other fun holiday stuff, but I hope you take a moment this 4th to remember the many people who have given up so much for us to be able to celebrate this special day. Most importantly I hope you and I will take a moment to thank God for this great country we live in. Health care, spending, government, etc can make you depressed or feel angry toward your country, but I would recommend we pray! Pray God will make a difference in the lives of American's, pray God will truly reign in the states and pray He will use you and I to make that difference!!! Enjoy the grill, the pretty fireworks, but PRAISE God for the freedom's we enjoy...billions of others don't have that freedom and can only pray for it day and night!!!
