TWENTY YEARS?!?!
...are ya sure about this...can we check this one to see if it's true?! Apparently, it is! The 28th of this month I will be 20 years in Christ! I remember it like it was yesterday! March 28, 1988! It was the Sunday after the Tulsa workshop at my home congregation Carbondale in Tulsa, Ok. Danny Sidders preached and I came forward crying my eyes out. My dad and I went back and changed...we had been talking about baptism for a good time before that Sunday. I was only 13, but I knew! Since then God has taken me for a WILD ride! I don't think I would change anything, but I do have some regrets. Not something that I will necessarily dwell on, but I realize that in 20 years I haven't grown like I should have! It's humbling, but I am in the Word daily and trying to see where God is leading me. Thanks for all you have meant to me and my walk with Christ over those 20 years. I especially am thankful to my parents, because they have brought me through so much and always led me back to Jesus!

I celebrate your twenty years of Christian life and give thanks to God for all the things you've done for His Kingdom. I pray that He will give you sixty more and that you will continue to touch many more lives in between those years.
