"Moses was high on drugs: Israeli researcher"?!

This morning I was reading my yahoo news when a particular article title caught my attention...the title above. Here's a paragraph from the article....

"As far Moses on Mount Sinai is concerned, it was either a supernatural cosmic event, which I don't believe, or a legend, which I don't believe either, or finally, and this is very probable, an event that joined Moses and the people of Israel under the effect of narcotics," Shanon told Israeli public radio on Tuesday."

How stupid! Is there even any merit to this story or possibility that the 10 COMMANDMENTS came through a "psychedelic trip"?! Hendrix, Stairway to Heaven, sure, but the very commands and foundations of so many countries?! The laws which have helped shape us and form us? I'm just glad this guy admits to using drugs himself...perhaps it will help to discredit him to those who might actually believe or consider this junk!

It's frustrating to hear such lies! You probably noted that one possibility was left...THAT GOD REALLY DID TALK TO MOSES!!! It's often sad how much faith we put in people. The crazy thing is that professors some times seem to be some of the biggest nut jobs and they are the ones we look to for learning.
