WARNING! WARNING!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Consider yourself properly warned...I HATE politics! The devil and politics are equivalent in my mind. Now to my parents credit (as well as grandparents), I was taught to vote. The truth is I have never voted for a single election of anything...other than in school when I had no choice! I say that to tell you that I never read political anything and although I watch The OReilly Factor every now and again, I don't have any interest or desire to know all the evil that surrounds us in the world of politics....but!

While I was scrolling through my yahoo news I came across an article about Senator McCain. I really don't know anything about him other than he has served our country (I do have tremendous respect for the man for that!). The article referred to a recent interview with beliefnet.com. He was asked a series of questions that apparently he didn't answer "politically correct". The questions dealt with religious believes, etc. His answer seemed right (at least the part I heard), but I realize in this post modern world...few things are right...especially when you get to talking about religion. Gasp. Within one day, poor Sen. McCain had called the Beliefnet people back and said he needed to amplify his answers to yesterday's questions. Now he added: "I would vote for a Muslim if he or she was the candidate best able to lead the country and defend our political values.""
