Churches everywhere are filled with people who disagree with each other and do not know how to effectively and lovingly communicate those disagreements. Every pastor should preach at least one series of sermons a year to help people learn to get along. Every Sunday school teacher or small-group leader should give major attention to helping people to get along. Too many churches claim to be hothouses of love, when, in fact, they are cesspools of gossip, anger, pettiness and the like."
