Good Weekend

Barb's parents came Thursday and Friday to celebrate the many Palafox/Gary birthdays during the month of June. Saturday morning we headed up to the building to prepare everything for the ladies day. While we were there Raciel and Ilse (ladies day guest speaker) arrived. After we finished, we went to the mall to eat. The kids always love to be with Ani (their daughter). We came back home to cook for the potluck and rest a little before the class. All the ladies were blessed by the message Ilse brought from God's word. Barb was thankful for the many that attended and the blessing that the evening was for all. Kudos to Tana, who did the ladies class for the first 2 years, because it's a lot of work when it all falls on one person! Please keep this ministry in your prayers.

We also had potluck this morning. As always, "ring the dinner bell and people come out of the wood work", but we were especially thankful to see one family. Connie (I have mentioned before) and her daugher Fabi came this morning. They have struggled A LOT in the past and we have mentioned them as a prayer request. Please continue to pray for them as they begin to hear about God. Also, please pray for Arturo and his family. The Francos have worked with Arturo for years and he often comes to services, but has yet to give his life to the Lord. I promised him I would pray for him and his family. One more prayer request, Aldo. He had a head injury some time ago and struggles with health, family, work, etc. Please keep Aldo and his family in your prayers!

It is truly a blessing to have such a good God! There are those dark days, but God is good and faithful and He has helped Barb and I to continue to work in His kingdom.
