Well, it's that time of year again! June 11th through July 2nd a team from the Let’s Start Talking program will come to Leon, GTO to teach English using the book of Luke. Their mission focus is "plant the seed" and let God do the rest. Obviously the follow up and local church will "water the seed" and continue in the effort to spread the Gospel. I'm especially looking forward to this year, because we will host 2 families. Gustavo and his wife are one of the familes. We have know them for a few years and admire their kind, gentle, servant hearts. My dad has told me some about the other family. He had nothing but good things to say about them. We have placed an ad in the classifieds of a local paper called "a.m.". We have received a hand full of calls, but would ask for your prayers for much, much more! We also hope to utilize one of the Summer mission groups that arrives just before LST to pass out flyers downtown. Being the "Gringos" of Leon, we come across a lot of people calling, "how are jou my frend?!" There is great potential for this effort to "cast the net"! Please keep the readers and workers in your prayers!
