Doctors Visit

Friday, KC was feeling sick, so we took her to the doctor. He said she had a throat infection and he prescribed her some antibiotics (she's doing fine now). While we were there, Barb asked about scorpion stings. You might remember a post about a year ago on this same topic. Of course we didn't know this til now, but Leon, GTO reports yearly having more scorpion stings than anywhere else in the WORLD!!! The good news is that the sting is not lethal. In fact, we have not had a death, as a result of a sting, in more than 52 years. Although it does cause pain, we don't have to "fear for our life". Why do I tell you this? Not to worry our grandmas back at home or make you concerned, but rather to ask for your prayers that God will continue to protect us both spiritual and physical. We also have a number of prayer request for the church:

• Protect of the church - multiple attacks from Satan recently
• Blessings in the growth of the church: first and foremost spiritual, but also numerically
• Various health concerns among the congregation.
• This Sunday I have the huge task of "recasting the vision". Please pray that my words are clear and that the congregation grabs hold of God's plan for the church. John 4:27-38
• Growth in our small groups
• Upcoming Summer visitors
• Wisdom for decision for the LST project
