"Angels rejoice..."

One Sunday afternoon, Susana walked into and set down. From the moment I met her, I knew she was different. We told her about up coming activities and she wanted to know what she could bring...a visitor...helping with a party. Well, a week later she showed up with who knows how many desserts for everyone! She has been that way ever since. We have really grown to love Susana and continue to pray for her. Within a week or two of our first meeting, she began to bring her mother. Immediately we realized where she got her humble spirit and servant attitude. God has been blessing the church amazing people. Susana (the mother in the blue robe) gave her life to Christ yesterday morning in baptism. She was so excited when she finally learned the truth. She has often told us what a blessing it is to listen to Omar teach God's word. She tells us, "the other churches just don't teach the Bible, but that Omar..." Please keep her in your prayers as she starts her new walk with Christ. I also want to ask for prayers for her children and her grandchildren. Susana (the daughter, top right in the white and black) is still struggling with some issues in her life. We look forward to the day when God adds her to the number of saved!

Yesterday afternoon, we went to visit the congregation in Comonfort, GTO. It's about an hour and a half from Leon. Some friends from Toluca (where we spent our AIM time) started the work there. We were blessed and well received by the congregation. It's a good feeling seeing the Lord's work in other places throughout Mexico. I really doubt many people know what God is doing there, but He is working all the same! Please keep the Lord's work in Comonfort in your prayers as well.
