God has blessed us with a lot of work in Leon! Moises, as you know, gave his life to Christ this past Sunday and he has asked me to study with him weekly. He is a very godly man desiring to learn and grow in the Lord. We are excited to see his desire to be discipled. We pray that God will use him to grow to be a great leader some day. Please continue to remember him in your prayers.
We have also seen growth in our Friday night cell group. This past week we had 14 people. We have been ranging around 10 to 12 for weeks now. The group is growing close and bonding together. They pray for each other and encourage each other to grow. We see great potential for the future of the group. We remember not long ago when we sat in an empty building with 2 AIMers on a Friday night, praying God would send people. He has blessed us with a great beginning!

This week we started the Thursday youth group back up. It was a DUD! Mariana was the only one that remembered. Since school just started this past week, many had forgotten or had a lot of homework. Please pray that this group will again take off! We stopped the group just before the Summer because of vacation etc. We were averaging around 8 kids each Thursday!

This morning we had a special prayer for 2 babies. One was Yolanda's daughter (our new sister) and the other is Martha's daughter (new sister as well). Dominga (in the pink), grandmother to both, asked us to present the children before the church. We weren't sure what she meant, but when we got to talking about it, we realized it was a lot like what we use to do in McAlester. We talked about the importance of raising children and the importance of the church helping bring the children to Jesus and then we prayed for them. It was a special time that was very important to our new sisters in Christ!
