"Good responses!"

For the past few weeks, our house has been a regular Jerry Lewis telethon. Not raising money, but receiving calls for the "Let's Start Talking" (www.lst.org) readers that will be arriving at the end of this month. We currently have over 20 potential readers, which is really exciting and opens great opportunities for the church. The two guys coming will arrive May 28th and "start work" the next day. I'm really excited to see how it all works out. I want to thank you for your prayers for responses and I would ask you to continue to pray. We still need readers, but we are focusing in on asking God to open the hearts of the readers. I know that some will be hearing the true story about Jesus for the first time. I look forward to seeing their excitement and God's work in their lives.

"In other news", we will be starting a new small group at the building on Friday nights. Barb and I are looking forward to it. There are two ladies who will begin the "core" part of this group. Both have unbelieving husbands and both live within a stones throw away from the building. We will have it early enough that people can still do things with family, etc. Friday night seems to be a good time, because though people work the next day they are often willing to stay up a little later. Please pray that we can reach out to other people in the area and that God will use the group to do great things for the kingdom. Thank you for your prayers and partnership in the work. We know God is listening and answering prayers! May He be glorified through our combine efforts to reach out to the great city of Leon, Guanajuato!
