"Church in the Park"

This Sunday, we decided to have a time of worship in the park. We invited another congregation to join us. Although only two of the families came from the congregation Leon Sur, it was a good time to sing, and challenge the people to think more about "God things" rather than just the everyday "ho-hum" of life. There was a visiting family who came. They have 6 boys! Barbara is praying and planning to start a study with her. Leonor is her name. Please mention her in prayer. After the worship time, we charcoaled some hot dogs and ate some "guacamayas" (kinda like pork rind sandwiches with salsa...they are different, but very popular here in Leon). We had a good time fellowshiping with each other and playing in the park. It's always a blessing to spend time enjoying nature and our brothers in Christ. Please continue to pray for the growth of the church. We are really looking forward to more times of fellowship and evangelism as the summer nears! May He forever be glorified!
