March Madness

Many are probably thinking baseball...right? I'm thinking the church of Christ in Leon Sur! This past week we hosted 2 young men from Lubbock who will be bringing a group (www.sunset.cc) of around 40 people in mid July to work with the church. As you can imagine, we took them all over looking for hotels, trying food, checking out work sites and cost of everything. We would start early and finish late. It was a good week, because I can almost already see what God will do with their efforts! There is another group from Shawnee considering a short term mission trip here to Leon as well. They are looking at the possibility of bringing 20 people and staying around 5 days toward the end of June. You probably remember that 2 guys from LST (www.lst.org) will be coming during May and June as well. This summer promises to be crazy, but with the help and grace of our God, it promises to be very fruitful as well! Please continue to pray for these up coming events. We would ask for your continued prayers on behalf of our support. We are still trying to raise funds for the kids schooling, working fund and the monthly support we lack.
