40 days study

Last night we started a "maturing in Christ" study called the 1st 40 days. It's a good way to not drop new Christians "off a cliff" after they are baptized. Patti (his wife) had a lot of questions, because her "salvation experience" is different from Gerardo's and the Bible. We told her that we would be glad to study with her and help her better understand what God wants and expects. We continue to bring her back to the Bible, because she has been taught so many lies and unbiblical things. I think she was excited to finally understand that there is a standard...God's Word! Please pray for Patti and Gerardo as we continue to study with them though he has given his life to Christ. We tried to explain from the beginning that Baptism is just the beginning rather than "the end". Thank you for your prayers and partnership in the Lord's work here in Leon, GTO.
