2 Timothy 2:2

On March 5th and 6th, the congregation in El Coli (GDL) held a leadership Conference. About 2 weeks before that, I was informed I was suppose to speak for FOUR HOURS!!! After the shock of TEACHING a LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE in ANOTHER LANGUAGE :) passed, I was truly honored to have been considered to help in this effort. More than a year ago, Omar dreamed up the idea of uniting congregations and challenging the leaders. Mexico is currently fairly weak in it's over all church of Christ leadership. Though there are several Christians, there just aren't a lot of workers! I'm proud of Omar and thankful to work beside him in this effort to encourage men and women to rise up and use their gifts to the glory of God!

Friday night we had a nearly 4 hour session with breaks and all and then Saturday morning they came back for more. The church was excited and thankful! I was reminded of just how GOOD God is!!! I often feel I don't have much to offer, especially in another language. The church was super humble and thrilled to continue on in the work and apply what God is teaching them through His word and other Godly men! There were well over 30 from 2 different states, 4 different congregations. Praise God that He is answering the pray for more workers in the harvest!!
