Turkey day in Leon, GTO
Well, I'm sure your thanksgiving was different than ours this year. A handful of us gringos went to the Palafox house to eat some Turkey and Ham. That part sounds pretty normal I'm sure :) Speaking Spanish (rather than English), watching youtube videos (rather than the cowboys) and going home early to get the kids in bed for school on Friday (your kids probably stayed up til all hours since Friday there was no school in the states) were a couple of the differences. We also had people representing 4 different countries there! But it was similar in the fact that we had great hosts (Palafox family), great food, lots of fun and we too gave thanks to God for all He has done! Praise Him during these holidays and remember the AIMers in your prayers. I'm sure some might feel home sick during Thanksgiving and Christmas, since their families are more than a 1,000 miles away.
