Proud of the brothers!

One thing you must know about people in Leon, they are EXTREMELY "protective" of their health. A couple of examples: 50 to 60 degree weather and half or more people on the street will be wearing a scarf. Another, might be the notion you can't eat w/in a half an hour before swimming...here they take it one step further, before SHOWERING or BED! That's right, there is more than one person in the congregation that will swear they have a relative that has DIED from eating and then swimming/showering/going to bed!

I don't tell you that to make fun of the "urban legends" of Leon. I tell you that, b/c the majority of the church came this morning to worship. As you know this swine thing is going around and YESTERDAY (as fore mentioned) it came out in the paper that swine flu is in Leon. Inspite of that, the church came together and made the priority to worship! Though one lady wouldn't come within 5 feet of me, she was there :) I thankful to see their growth and see priorities change! We even had a handful of visitors! God is good!!!
