Ana y Gina give their life to Christ

Today was a neat day! Earlier this week, Ana had gone to Arturo and told him she was interested in studying about baptism. They studied together and you can see the result above. Barb had asked Gina (the twins who were recently baptized) to come over to the house and study this past week as well. Barb, Beto and I studied with her and Bogar baptized her! It's great to see Bogar's willingness to do whatever asked of him! I'm proud to see the Lord at work in His church. Please pray we will put more of our trust in the Lord and less in ourselves! Praise Him for these two new creations and ask Him for help in their new walk with Christ!

On another note, a friend named Alejandro called me just before I left to the states. He told me about a friend of his that lived here in Leon. His friend was named Juan. Beto and I went to visit Juan downtown at a tamale "restaurant". When we arrived we asked for Juan and they said "he's upstairs". We went up and realized quickly this was a BAR! We met Juan and he invited us to a "Coke, Beer or whatever you would like". Beto had mineral water and I had just water :) We talked for a while and he asked me to invite him to Sunday worship. I really wanted to start studying with him first, but he insisted so I gave him the address. This morning he showed up EARLY (amazing in Mexico) with his wife and two kids, his mom, sister and little brother! It was pretty cool to see and especially cool for Beto since he was part of it! I'm thankful God is working so powerfully in Beto's life. He was part of the study with Gina and now part of inviting people to come and learn more about Jesus! Keep Beto in your prayers and praise God for his willingness to advance the borders of the kingdom!
