Yesterday, we went with the Palafox family to the fair. It's always fun to see all the attractions, exotic foods, animals and of course we saw a weirdo or 10...isn't the fair funny like that?! The kids had a ton of fun with Abi and Tito running around, eating and seeing everything. The fair last like a month here. The good news is it only cost $8 pesos ($.80 and the kids are free). The bad news is, everyone takes advantage of the cheap entrance! The traffic is a killer around this time too! Since the fair is literally a few blocks from us, we have to deal with the horrible traffic for a month. It's no Dallas at rush hour, but it's still no fun. We try to plan extra time ahead for everything we are doing.

Though the fair makes life a little more crazy, it's fun to have some down time and a great place to go and see with the family. Maybe next year you can make plans to come and see the Leon fair. I'm pretty sure you will like it.

p.s. in the picture at the top, those are bushes that have been shaped to spell out "Feria Leon" (Leon fair)...kinda cool huh?
