"You ain't seen nothing yet..."

We had a great time in Athens, Tx with Eastern Hills. Joe and Dale were great host! The church gave us a very warm reception and everyone was so kind. We are very thankful for the way that God has worked in them and through them. They have partnered with us for over 2 years now!
On the way home Barb and I had a great laugh that I really wanted to share. What makes this story so funny is coming from Mexico and the experiences we have had there, but I'm sure you will still find it amusing! So we were driving out of Athens when we saw "Fruit for sale ahead" signs. We saw one that said "East Texas Sweet Potatoes". Barb wanted to stop, so we pulled over. When I got out I saw the above and below signs and I begin looking around for someone. When I finally realized I wasn't on Candid Camera and it wasn't a joke I had to take a picture. We both laughed in unbelief, but it was real! This fruit stand was "on the honor system" and the salers expected you to pay and be honest....I loved it!!! I thought it was so cool that there's still a corner of the world where people are trustworth and they will leave the fruit out there and trust people to pay. p.s. we paid for the sweet potatoes and grapefruits we got!
