Praise God!!!

We are super excited to share with you the great things that God has been doing in Leon, GTO! This Saturday was our 3rd annual ladies day. Though we have been a part in years past, this was Barb's first time to head up the effort. She did an excellent job!!!

To me the most exciting thing was seeing so many of the ladies working and participating like never before. They have planned, prayed and worked hard for this day to happen for a while now! Carla Borja Lowe was our guest speaker and she did an excellent job. All the ladies were very pleased with how well it was organized and executed! They said the food was good, the gifts were nice and the whole thing was a great day in the Kingdom!

Special thanks to Omar, Bill and the food team. The AIM girls did a good job with their skit and many other things they helped with. Chris, a few men and the new AIM guys rocked with the kids. Esperanza is a treasure for the ladies program! To Carla, you have been a great friend and sister in Christ for many years now and you have helped us grow and shared in this work...thank you! A super, "hey-horray", thanks to Jessica and all her behind the scenes efforts to help make this thing happen!!!

By the way, there were 105 women in attendance (33 from Leon and 72 outside of Leon...Toluca/GDL/GTO/Mexico City), not to mention the 40 something kids and 20 or so adults and helpers!!!
