"How much would you pay for a shower?!"

I was taking a REALLY nice shower with pressure and hot water (my kinda shower, but opposite my shower at back at home)! It got me to thinking, what do I really sacrifice? Everytime I come to the states I give my family (parents/brother/sister) a hard time about how EASY life is here in the states and how much money (more expensive) "that" would cost in Mexico.

Then I think about how much my family is blessed. How much better off my kids are for being blessed with a "multi-cultural" experience. I realize how different they are than some of the other kids their age in states. I realize what a great year this has been for us as a faimly. Things haven't been perfect, but we have grown through each experience! God has used us powerfully in His kingdom and taught us so much! He continues to work in our lives and reminds us in several ways...HE IS GOOD!!!

Some times, in a moment of pity or arrogance, I think "living in Mexico is such a sacrifice and although I come home to a different "USA" every year, there really is no sacrifice in comparison of all Jesus has done for us! When He said, "...take up your cross..." I hardly think "move to Mexico" is a sacrifice or "taking up your cross".
