"Month's recap"
Would it be rude to say I'm glad October is over?! I know I sound lazy, but I'm tired just hearing the word October! You name it, we did it...or at least thought about doing it!
The month started off with a trip to Toluca (4ish hours South). We left Thursday morning and got back late Sunday. Of course we had a blast! We went to celebrate the church's 15th ann. Since we were AIMers there in 1994 and 1995, we have loved that church and have found memories of the town as well.
The second weekend was the trip to GDL for the ladies day. There was a whole lot going on here in the church during that time. Matter of fact, we are still trying to sort all that out, but Tana did a good job teaching the class and Barb and the other ladies seemed to really enjoy it! The 3rd weekend was a Marriage Enrichment Seminar. Barb did a good job with the decorations and James and Erin did a great job teaching us from the book of Song of Solomon. It was a good weekend and hopefully the marriages were blessed. Finally we finished the month with a ladies day on Saturday. Barb did a good job making all the preparations and getting everything decorated. I'm really proud of how she has humble and quietly taken this ministry and helped it bloom into a blessing for all the women of the congregation.
