Special Sunday

Apart from our regular 1st Sunday of the month potluck. This morning was special for two reasons:

Bill and Lindsey have been doing some LST follow up. They have taught various individuals at various times and have been doing a great job. This morning Bill presented 3 ladies that came to serve with a certificate of completion and a thank you gift. Kudos to them!

Today we started our annual (2nd) missions giving time. We handed out cans to the congregation to fill with money. The idea is that they have a monthish to give to a work other than ours. Last year we gave the money to Tepic. The money given was used for an evangelistic campaign. Through that effort, people gave their lives to Christ! It's exciting to see this good idea do great things in the kingdom!

I just hung up with Roberto Rubio. They will be arriving in the morning. Please keep this family in your prayers. If you remember (if not click back a couple of posts), I posted a "before" video of the house that the Rubios will be renting. Now a week later, this is the "final" product. Our prayer is they like it! Again, I should have learned from the last video, but this one is a "quick" run through the bottom floor. Please forgive the motion sickness!

By the way, there were 94 in attendance this morning.
