3 years baby!

Well, with all the hubbub we have gotten caught up in, we haven't had a chance to mention that September 1st made it exactly three years for us here in Leon, GTO. It's been a MADDENING three years and we can't exactly say, "we wouldn't have it any other way", but God has used us and He has done great things in this city and in our lives.

Looking back, we had NO IDEA what we were getting ourselves into. We have often said since, "be careful what you pray for...you might get it"! We came as a family of 4 and now God has added one more to our number. We came as a three family team, God is doing all kinds of things with that (AIMers, Rubios, etc.). We came with little support and praise Him that has changed for the better. We had a clear and "exact" strategy, again, God has changed some of that too!

Many things are different than our "innocent" "childhood dreams", but God has helped us grow a lot along the way. He has taught us a lot and helped mature us as well. We can see how He had a purpose through all this and how in many things we were justified and many things we were humbled! In the end, He is a good God and we praise Him not only for salvation, but also for the purpose He has given us in life. There are so many lives we have seen Him change and so many more people that are searching! Barb and I are looking to the future and would ask for your prayers as we consider God's purpose and direction for our family and our ministry!
