Thanks for your interest in the Lord's work in Leon and our family!

A good friend of mine recently felt the need to rebuke me. I'm reminded of how "unhumble" I am! My love for the man allowed me to accept his rebuke and find my peace in God. It's hard to hear "you shouldn't have done that" or "you shouldn't feel that way", but it's important. I think that's way Paul stresses in Ephesians to do it "in love". It's not as bad when you know the person cares for you, about you and wants to see you grow. It's hard to except when you feel like the person could care less.

I remember a certain 3rd grade teacher of mine who will remain nameless...at least on my blog ;) I always felt like she was on me about something...although I'm 5 times her size, she puts fear in me! I also remember my 4th grade teacher. Her name was Sarah Farnsworth. She was awesome! She got on to me a lot too, obviously because I needed it, but I didn't mind it so much from her. I knew she cared about me and wanted the best for me. She would push me in reading and help me with whatever I couldn't' figure out. She convince me that the "SF" on the side of the 49ers helmet were her initials. I am a 49ers fan to this very DAY...even though I have since learned that it actually stands for San Fransisco! I'm glad God has blessed me with people in my life that love me enough to help me grow! Thanks Donnyboy!
