T. G. I. F.?

Well, frankly it seems that everyone lives for Fridays, but not this time of the year...at least I don't! On Fridays "the quesadilla lady", where I go a few times a week, doesn't have meat! Now, being a carnivore, this is rather upsetting. On Friday's during Lent, people in Leon, GTO don't eat meat or chicken. Typically no "land animals" only "creatures of the sea" (which by the way, if tuna is the "chicken of the sea" can you eat tuna on Friday's during Lent?). Not sure why you CAN eat fish, but not meat...if you ask me, I think that fishermen got together a long time ago with a scheme to sale more fish (that's just me). The funny thing about all this is that there was a dish with eggs. Now forget "which came first, the chicken or the egg?", this is a PRODUCT of a chicken that given a chance WOULD BE a chicken, but you CAN'T eat chicken. Oh well, tomorrow is another day and she will again have MEAT! Just another funny cultural thing I guess?!
