"Tis' the season..."
...well, not really, but you know how early things start. I think Christmas might even be more pronounced in Mexico, because they don't celebrate Thanksgiving (go figure?). Since my sister came to visit and the kids were out of school...Mexico Revolution...we all went to the market. Basically what they do once a week is SHUT DOWN a street and put tarps over it. They have tables along each side of the street and put tables/stands down the center of the street. There is a small walking space between the center stands and the outside ones. You can find anything and nearly everything at this markets. There is food, decorations (seasonal and home), plants, clothes, shoes, music, movies, and about whatever else you want. If you have never been, it would be a GREAT thing to come and VISIT...hint, hint! Anyways, we had a great time and I thought...since we finally got a camera...I would share some of the cultural experiences of Mexico.
