Mexican Independence Day!!!

16th de Septiembre is a great day in Mexico. Much like in the states, the people are proud and more than glad to celebrate another year of independence. Typically at night, many people gather downtown for the "grito", fireworks and food. Barb and I really wanted to utilize the holiday to be with people from the church, so we invited our small group over to the house for a party. Everyone seemed to have a good time. It was a lot of laughes, a lot of pozole and a late night. We even had a family come that we studied with, but we haven't seen in months! It's been a real joy to see this group grow in so many ways. They pray for each other and look forward to Fridays (not just for the weekend). Please keep this group in your prayers as they grow together.
