Finished Work and a New Sister

Well the Sun has finally set on the Mexico trip. Sunset left for home a little after worship service this afternoon. It was good to see many faces from our past and hear about the Lord's work around the world. A lot of good work got down and the VBS was awesome! Despite a little sickness and a cast, I think the group had a good time here in Leon. They also had an opportunity to visit Guanajuato. I think they liked the views and enjoyed the shopping. Thanks to their efforts, much of the children's home has a fresh coat of paint and looks really sharp. We also met a new family through the flyers that Sunset passed out for the VBS. The church kids loved the gifts that were brought and the AIMers were really encouraged to see fellow AIMers from Mexico City and some future AIMers. In all, we have learned a lot from these two groups that have come and we will hopefully be ready to given an even better mission experience to future groups.

On a different note, another soul was added to the Kingdom this morning as Maribel gave her life to Christ. She is a young lady in the youth group that has asked me for sometime about giving her life to Christ. On one occasion we set down to talk and she basically told me that she was lost without Jesus' sacrifice and she knew that she needed to take that final step. She is a very young lady that has just started her walk with Christ. Please keep her in your prayers!
