Merry Christmas!!!
Well, I'm still trying to sort out what I'm going to do with this blog. Until I figure out what I'm going to do, you can stay tuned here to channel "leonwork" to find out about what all is going on in the Gary family in Leon GTO! In other news, most of you who know my extremely cool wife, also know what a great mother she is! She is always thinking of how she can bless our children and help them grow in the Lord. We have nightly devos and other times of prayer. We open our house frequently to bless others and teach them hospitality. We had 14 this year for our Christmas dinner. We try to involve them in our ministries and give them special time of their own as well. We have tried to teach the kids giving. We have already established a yearly tradition of passing out a family Christmas card to the congregation, and baskets of candies for our family and friends. This holiday season we have been listening to KLTY Christmas music. One afternoon they were talking about "Christmas traditions" and a lady told a story of how her mother use to make cookies on Christmas morning and they would all go give them to the local fire department and thank them for their service to the community. Barb loved the idea and we decided that we would adopt that idea and make it our own Christmas family tradition. With banana muffins in hand and a few special "extra family members", we drove over to the local fire house. They were excited and thankful for the muffins. It was neat to see our kids excited about giving to the firemen and also excited to take a picture with them. I'm thankful for my wife and the prayer Godly woman she strives to be in Leon. She is an excellent example for so many and I'm super blessed to be part of her life!

Barb - I wish I was more like you - both when I was your age, with kids the ages of yours, and even today. I think I should take lessons! YOU are such a hero!
She does rock! God is using her to be an INTERNATIONAL example :) She's doing awesome things among the women. This church would be WAY different without all God is doing through her among the ladies! She's an amazing woman!!
